Entry-Level IT Support Technician
Job Summary:
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults. Provide technical support across the company.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide first level technical support for end users.
- Assist users with common issues related to computers, printers, phones/iPads, and software, etc.
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, etc.
- Assist with user account setups, password resets, and access request.
- Support HR with employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Escalate unresolved tickets to senior IT staff.
- Manage and maintain IT equipment inventory****
- Provide technical support to non-technical users
- Work with IT management to provide excellent support and service to end users.
- Plus, other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management
- Provide network “alive” for customer utilization, process improvement
Education/Experience:
- High School attendee and/or Graduate
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Basic knowledge of windows operating system
- Familiarity with Microsoft office products
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Willingness to learn new technologies
Training:
- On the job training provided

- On-going support for certification and training
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing/walking, up to 10 hours at a time
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, or bending to access equipment
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional ascending or descending on ladders or ramps
- Frequent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine
- Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
- Contant talking by means of verbal communication
- Frequent fine manipulation
